ALL Rhode Island Courts are closed on Monday, October 29, 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy. Court is expected to resume on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 but you should call the Clerk's Office at the Rhode Island Court you expect to appear in over the next three days.
Due to projected storm conditions, the Rhode Island Judiciary has cancelled court sessions for Wednesday, February 2, 2011.
Despite the cancellation of court calendars, all staff members are to report to work and courts are expected to be open. Should circumstances change, the information will be posted on the Judiciary's website (www.courts.ri.gov), and by media outlets throughout the state, including radio and television.
